Is the class ‘just playing’?
We do not ‘just play’; we engage in Purposeful Inquiry. Our studio follows the British EYFS framework, where play is the engine for complex learning.
When a child builds a tower, the are learning Physics (balance/gravity).
When they discuss their plan, they are learning Literacy (vocabulary/narrative).
